Number of chances    Age criteria decides your number of chances to appear for the CDSE test. To find your number of

attempts do as following

  • Consider the month and year in which you are planning to appear for the test e.g. I want to give exam in October 2017
  • Now subtract 23 years from it. So October 2017 – 23 years = October 1994
  • Thus as per CDS entrance exam age criterion Students born after 1st January 1994 and before 1st January 1999  can appear for this test Provided they are going to complete their graduation before their joining in Jun
  • Now add six – six months January 1994 till you just cross your birth date . The number of times you did it gives your number of attempts e.g. If my birth date is 3 March 1996 then I have to add six months five times to just cross my birth date . So I will have five chances .
